Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Helen Jackson (Labour), on Tuesday, 7 December 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 74 members in total.
YORKSHIRE WATER CUSTOMER SERVICES COMMITTEE
That this House expresses its appreciation of the magnificent, sterling work of the Yorkshire Customer Services Committee of OFWAT, and in particular of Diana Scott, who has chaired the committee for the last four years, and the way in which she has represented the views of water consumers in Yorkshire who are adamantly opposed to compulsory metering of domestic water supplies and the disconnections thereof; and hopes that she will be reconfirmed in her position when it falls due next February.
