CONDUCT OF RECORDER ROGER KEEN AND THE CASE OF MR STUART HICKEN

That this House deplores the sentencing by Recorder Roger Keen of Mr Stuart Hicken to 150 hours of community service on a charge of unlawfully imprisoning a thief who was granted a conditional discharge; and calls for a review of sentencing policy in order to restore public faith in the courts.
