TAXIS FOR USERS WITH WHEELCHAIRS
That this House gives a particular welcome to the Government announcement, in paragraphs 5 and 6 of the response, Command 2715, to the Transport Select Committee's recommendations on Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles, that vehicles newly licensed as a taxi will have to be wheelchair accessible and that after a 10 year transition period, all taxis will be wheelchair accessible.
