Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gordon McMaster (Labour), on Wednesday, 23 November 1994, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 51 members in total.
DAILY RECORD FEATURE ON FOX-HUNTING
That this House congratulates the Daily Record on its excellent colour feature on fox-hunting, published on 23rd November; commends it for providing space for both opponents and supporters of fox-hunting to put their case; concludes that the case against fox-hunting was overwhelmingly proven in the article and by the horrific photographs of blood-thirsty hounds devouring the corpse of a fox; and believes that fox-hunting has nothing to do with sport, and should be banned forthwith.
