MOBILE HOMES
That this House expresses its concern at the disadvantages suffered by permanent residents of mobile homes; notes that they were not eligible for the recent ??50 rebate in electricity bills; notes further that disability improvement grants for facilities such as built-in showers are frequently not available to them; regards this kind of second-class treatment as unacceptable; affirms that permanent residents of mobile homes deserve equal treatment with other residents; and calls upon the Government and other relevant agencies to review their policies in this regard.
