MR BERNARD CROFTON AND THE MEDIA

That this House notes that Ian Macdonald QC has criticised the media coverage and the way in which it played on racism in the Crofton affair, including and in particular the coverage of BBC reporter, Andrew Hoskin, and that of the makers of the BBC Taking Liberties programme; and calls on the media to give the same full coverage to the report of Ian Macdonald QC as they gave previously to some of Mr Crofton's bogus allegations which have now been exposed as fantasies.
