LIVERPOOL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF AMATEUR BOXING

That this House congratulates the Liverpool City Council for hosting the International Festival of Amateur Boxing which attracted participants from 21 nations, which was supported by the Sports Council, The Foundation for Sports and the Arts, the Amateur Boxing Association and the British Army First King's Regiment, and which was a huge success and a highly competitive and sporting festival which was was well attended and acted as a great boost to the sporting reputation of Liverpool.
