AUDITING THE ACTIVITIES OF HEALTH AUTHORITIES AND TRUSTS
That this House calls upon the Secretary of State to curtail the policy of secrecy in respect of the audit of health authorities and trusts which is not in the public interest; and demands that honourable Members are automatically sent copies of audit reports and letters which they indicate as primarily affecting their constituents, that copies of all such reports and letters be available in the Library, and that regional offices be required to supply such letters and reports to the Press or members of the public who request them after a fixed date each year.
