Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Peter Kilfoyle (Labour), on Thursday, 8 February 1996, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 69 members in total.
ARCHBISHOP WORLOCK
That this House notes with extreme sadness the death of Archbishop Worlock; remembers the tremendous impact his life has had on ecumenism in the United Kingdom and beyond; recalls his untiring advocacy, with Bishop David Sheppard, on behalf of the people of Merseyside; and pays tribute to the compassionate and practical Christianity which he personified.
