Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Lord Soley (Labour), on Thursday, 30 January 1997, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 32 members in total.
PHOENIX HIGH SCHOOL
That this House congratulates the staff, pupils, parents and governors who, with the active support of Hammersmith and Fulham Council, have shown that co-operation, commitment and determination can result in a school being taken out of special measures and given a fresh start; and notes that this school can also serve as a model for schools elsewhere in the country which are experiencing problems.
