Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Liz Lynne (Liberal Democrat), on Wednesday, 19 March 1997, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 15 members in total.
CRASH
That this House regrets that the British Board of Film Classification has passed for release and without any cuts the film Crash, a film which depicts deliberately engineered car crashes in the pursuit of sexual pleasure; notes further that car crashes are the cause of thousands of deaths and serious accidents every year; and therefore regrets that such a film will now be able to be seen in cinemas up and down the country.
