SUDAN CHURCHES APPEAL FOR A REFERENDUM

That this House welcomes the joint appeal by the church councils of both parts of the Sudan entitiled 'Here We Stand United in Action for Peace' noting particularly their appeal for international help to oversee a cease-fire and a referendum; and encourages the Foreign Secretary to respond positively.
