CONDUCT OF THE RIGHT HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR WOKINGHAM (No. 5)

That this House expresses its concern that the Opposition spokesperson for Trade and Industry has allowed himself to enter into a relationship with a company, Murray Financial Corporation, that seeks to limit choice within the financial services market by taking over building societies; believes that by so doing a serious conflict of interest has arisen, in that the Department of Trade and Industry has responsibility for competition policy; and calls upon the Right honourable Member to consider his position.
