That this House notes that 6th February 1990 commemorates the one hundredth anniversary of the explosion at the Llanerch Colliery, Abersychan, Pontypool, when 175 men and boys lost their lives; and takes this opportunity to pay tribute to those thousands of people who have sacrificed their lives in the coal-mining industry in this country.
