DETENTION OF LEBANESE CITIZENS
That this House deplores the continuing, long-term detention by the Israeli authorities of many Lebanese subjects illegally taken to Israel and held without trial; notes that Mr Husein Ahmad has been held without trial in administrative detention since November 1987 and that at least 15 other Lebanese subjects have been held in administrative detention for over six years; notes that Mr Mustafa Dirani and four others seized in 1989 remain in Israeli prisons; and calls on the Israeli Government to release or bring before a civil court these Lebanese subjects.
