Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Richard Body (Conservative), on Tuesday, 19 October 1999, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 13 members in total.
DISPLAY OF FLAGS IN TAXI-CABS
That this House sees nothing wrong in taxi-cabs in Edinburgh displaying the flag of St. Andrew or the taxi-cabs of Cardiff adorned with the flag of St. David; and therefore calls upon the Metropolitan Police to reverse its decision to refuse to license taxi-cabs in London that display the flag of St. George.
