HEDDLU GWENT POLICE
That this House congratulates Heddlu Gwent Police on their success in reducing crime by 16 per cent.; notes that burglary has fallen by 20 per cent., theft of vehicles by 25 per cent., theft from vehicles by 27 per cent. and violent crime by six per cent.; further notes that the number of drug traffickers arrested has risen by 78 per cent.; and commends the effective use of police resources and the developing of partnership with public services, business and the community which has contributed to their success.
