ELECTION OF NEW SPEAKER
That this House notes the answers to the points of order raised by the honourable Member for Linlithgow given by the Speaker on 25th July, including the reference to the intended letter to all honourable Members; and reflects further that there should be a full debate on the procedures governing the selection of the new Speaker before the House moves to nomination and election of the Speaker.
