MISSING COMBATANTS IN IRAQ

That this House notes with concern that nearly a decade after Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait more than 600 Kuwaiti and third country nationals are still unaccounted for and that under United Nations Security Council Resolution 687 Iraq has a clear obligation to co-operate with the International Committee of the Red Cross in determining their whereabouts; and calls on the United Nations urgently to campaign to clarify this issue which is causing continued suffering to the families of the missing.
