Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Hilton Dawson (Labour), on Friday, 14 April 2000, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 12 members in total.
LANCASTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB
That this House congratulates Lancaster City FC on winning the Unibond League Challenge Cup; wishes them well in future attempts to gain promotion to the Conference and beyond; and recognises that their biggest ever trophy triumph in one of non-league's most prestigious competitions shows that they have as bright a future as the city whose name they bear.
