Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Donald Coleman (Labour), on Tuesday, 19 December 1989, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 8 members in total.

Opera Facilities in Llandudno

That this House regrets that the Secretary of State for Wales has not felt able to support an application for assistance for building a new theatre at Llandudno which would provide the Welsh National Opera Company with a facility capable of staging grand opera in North Wales; notes with dismay that without such a theatre the Welsh National Opera is unable to tour North Wales with its full range of productions; hopes that the Secretary of State's decision is neither final nor irrevocable; and calls on the Welsh Office to find the means to enable an early go-ahead for this worthwhile project.
