ELLEN MACARTHUR (No. 4)
That this House once again expresses its unreserved admiration for the achievements of Ellen MacArthur and her boat Kingfisher in the Vendee Globe; shares in the national pride generated by Ellen becoming the youngest person ever to circumnavigate the world single-handed and in the fastest time by a woman; and congratulates Michel Desjoyeaux on his victory and looks forward to the day when he is eclipsed by the young Englishwoman who is a wonderful role model for European youth.
