That this House expresses its sympathy to Mrs Mary Elliott on the death of her husband who at the time of his death was registered as having 40 per cent. chronic bronchitis and emphysema; and further regrets that, whilst Mr John Elliott had been assessed two years previously as suffering from this condition, at the time of his death he still had not received compensation under the Mineworkers Compensation Scheme.
