MARITIME VOLUNTEER SERVICE
That this House welcomes Government recognition of the Maritime Volunteer Service for their important role in ensuring that all aspects of marine skills remain available to future generations of the men and women seeking a maritime career and for their involvement in local emergency plans both at sea and ashore; and calls upon the Government to consider making financial support available to enable the continuation and expansion of the Maritime Volunteer Service's excellent work.
