FUNDING OF EDUCATION
That this House notes that education funding per pupil varies by several hundred pounds between local education authorities despite similar pupil populations and similar costs; welcomes the Government's commitment to review the system; endorses the campaign by the F40 group of local authorities for speedy reform; and welcomes the Education (Funding) Bill introduced by the honourable Member for Broxtowe to reform the system.
