TRIAL OF FORMER PRESIDENT MILOSEVIC
That this House welcomes the start of the trial of former President Milosevic for crimes committed in the former Yugoslav Republic; notes that other indictees such as Karadjic and Mladic are still at large; and urges the relevant authorities to take immediate steps to detain them and bring them to justice; deplores the opposition to the setting up of the International Criminal Court by the Conservatives; and recalls the approach taken to ethnic cleansing in Bosnia in the 1990s by the previous Conservative Government.
