WOMEN'S CURLING VICTORY AT WINTER OLYMPICS
That this House wholeheartedly congratulates the Great Britain Women's Curling Team of Rhona Martin, Fiona MacDonald, Margaret Morton, Janice Rankin and Debbie Knox, on winning the gold medal at the Winter Olympics; notes that this victory marks the first British Winter Games gold medallists for 18 years; welcomes the fact that the team will be bringing the Olympic gold medals back to the birthplace of curling; and believes that this spectacular victory should be used to encourage others, especially young people, to take up the sport.
