THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY'S NATIONAL CHEMISTRY WEEK 2001
That this House congratulates the Royal Society of Chemistry for organising the nationwide Chemistry Week from 16th to 23rd November; applauds the wide variety of events being held throughout the United Kingdom to raise awareness of the vital role which chemistry plays in the modern world and in everyday life; and encourages Right honourable and honourable Members on all sides of the House to take advantage of the willingness of the scientific community outside Parliament to offer Members expert assistance, such as the Royal Society of Chemistry's pioneering Parliamentary Link Scheme, when debating or dealing with issues involving science.
