MR DAVID HEMPLEMAN-ADAMS' SOLO BALLOON FLIGHT
That this House notes with admiration that on 29th September Mr David Hempleman-Adams became the first person to fly solo in a open wicker hot air balloon from Pittsburgh to Europe and, in doing so, achieved the British duration record; recognises that his journey is in the finest traditions of British explorers; and congratulates him on his outstanding achievement.
