LESBIAN AND GAY CLERGY AND MEETING OF ANGLICAN PRIMATES
That this House notes the meeting of the Anglican Primates in London on 15th to 17th October; trusts that lesbian and gay clergy will not be subject to further discrimination and harassment; regrets the treatment of Canon Jeffrey John following his proposed appointment as Bishop of Reading; and calls upon the Anglican Communion to show tolerance and understanding towards people of different sexual orientation.
