MR DAN ARDEN'S RETIREMENT

That this House notes that, after 65 years as a distinguished photographer, including almost 40 years for the Shropshire Star and more recently for the Newport Advertiser, Dan Arden MBE is to retire on his 85th birthday on 8th July; pays tribute to the professionalism, courtesy and sporty roadsters which have been his trademarks; acknowledges the many achievements in his career, including the rare distinction of having photographed six successive Prime Ministers; and wishes him many happy returns in a long and fulfilling retirement.
