DIABETES AWARENESS WEEK
That this House notes Diabetes Awareness Week begins on 8th June; recognises that diabetes is one of the biggest health challenges facing the United Kingdom, with heart disease, blindness, kidney failure, strokes and amputations often resulting from unidentified or poorly controlled diabetes; and supports Diabetes UK's campaign to ensure that adequate information and support is given to people diagnosed with diabetes.
