Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor David Crausby (Labour), on Thursday, 20 March 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 106 members in total.
LOCAL PHARMACY SERVICES
That this House recognises the importance of access to vital local pharmacy services for patients without transport, the elderly and disabled; and calls on the Government to evaluate extensively the Office of Fair Trading recommendations to abolish entry controls in the pharmacy sector in order to ensure that they do not lead to the decline of this particular community service and the eventual closure of many community pharmacies.
