Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Liam Fox (Conservative), on Friday, 11 April 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 42 members in total.
DISCLOSURE OF NHS PAY
That this House believes that the wages of public servants should automatically be a matter of public record; notes with great concern that many NHS trusts are not disclosing the salaries of their chief executives; and urges the Government to ensure that all public expenditure is clearly accounted for and to change the law to ensure that this is the case.
