Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Andrew Rosindell (Conservative), on Tuesday, 28 January 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 14 members in total.
OLYMPIC GAMES 2012
That this House completely rejects the suggestion that the cost of any proposed Olympic Games to be held in London in 2012 should be financed by an increase in council tax throughout the London boroughs; and calls upon the Government to ensure that in the event of a successful bid, all costs are met entirely by private enterprise and sponsorship.
