BBC CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL
That this House acknowledges the significant achievements of the BBC Children in Need Appeal in helping socially disadvantaged children and young people across the United Kingdom; notes that since 1980, when the Appeal first was established, it has raised over ??300 million, that in the last 12 months it awarded grants totalling ??25.2 million and that during the Appeal night on 15th November it raised ??13.5 million; and wishes it continued success for the future.
