Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Alice Mahon (Labour), on Wednesday, 4 December 2002, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 34 members in total.

NON-MILITARY SOLUTION IN IRAQ

That this House condemns the 300 per cent. increase in bombs dropped on Iraq since March 2002; believes this increase has little to do with protecting Iraqi people but more to do with destroying Iraq's air defences as a prelude to war; is deeply concerned that the United States Administration is trying to bully the UN weapons inspectors into agressive inspections; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to distance this country from President Bush's war aims and join with majority of peace-loving nations in the world to seek a non-military solution in Iraq.
