Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Simon Thomas (Plaid Cymru), on Tuesday, 9 November 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 10 members in total.
REMEMBRANCE DAY IN WALES
That this House records its continuing gratitude to those service men and women and civilians from Wales who gave their lives during the last century; thanks those who continue to risk their lives for peacekeeping and security today; supports strongly the work of the British Legion in assisting ex-service men and women and those damaged by conflict; welcomes the establishment of a national remembrance service in Wales; and believes it is now appropriate to support a Welsh poppy to increase fundraising in Wales.
