Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Liam Fox (Conservative), on Wednesday, 13 November 2002, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 68 members in total.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FUNDING
That this House acknowledges the work of Mind to campaign for the provision of a range of treatment choices for those with mental health problems and the involvement of users in the decisions about their care; notes the current widespread concern that promised Government funding is not reaching front line mental health services and that the Government mental health targets will not have been achieved; and demands that the Government makes sure mental health primary care practitioners receive the training they need and a range of services is available, so that choice may become a reality.
