Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Alan Simpson (Labour), on Tuesday, 20 July 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 23 members in total.

CHILDLINE IN NOTTINGHAM

That this House recognises the strength of Childline's longest standing base in Nottingham and the services it offers; regrets the decision of the national organisation to reduce this to a satellite service in October, making at least 10 staff redundant; is shocked by the presumption that Childline can maintain the quality of its services in Nottingham on little more than skeleton staffing; and calls on Childline nationally to reverse this decision.
