That this House recognises the hard work and dedication of nurses working in the health services, often in difficult conditions; congratulates the Nursing Standard for organising in partnership with the Royal College of Nursing, the Nurse 2004 Awards, which are taking place on 2nd November; recognises the magnitude of the contribution that nurses make both to the National Health Service and to the health sector as a whole; and congratulates all those receiving awards.
