PESTICIDE RESIDUES IN FOOD

That this House is concerned that recent research has shown that fresh fruit and vegetables on sale in UK supermarkets continue to have high levels of pesticide residues; and believes that food producers, retailers and the Government must all take action to ensure a reduction in the use of pesticides in food production and the eradication of residues in food.
