MEDICATIONS FOR MS

That this House notes that 85,000 individuals in the United Kingdom suffer multiple sclerosis; further notes that approximately 50 people, mostly in their twenties and thirties, are diagnosed with the condition every week; supports greater research into the condition and better respite provision; recognises that new medications like beta interferon and glatiramer can minimize and control many MS symptoms; and believes that sufferers across the UK should have equal access to these life-altering therapies.
