Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Ron Brown (Labour), on Thursday, 11 July 1991, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 48 members in total.

LOTHIAN HEALTH BOARD'S CUTS

That this House notes that Lothian Health Board, an undemocratic agency promoting Tory politics including privatisation, has repeatedly broken commitments to the people of Lothian Region; recognises also that underfunding by the Scottish Office has been a major problem, along with maladministration; and in particular condemns the continuing delay in providing the promised new hospital for Leith, as well as the withdrawal of the agreed accident and emergency service at the local Western General Hospital.
