JOINT PRE-LEGISLATIVE SCRUTINY COMMITTEES
That this House appreciates the constructive work that joint pre-legislative scrutiny committees can perform in helping to scrutinise and improve draft legislation, as exemplified by the recent report produced by the joint pre-legislative scrutiny committee on the draft Gambling Bill; and looks forward to joint scrutiny committees continuing to perform this valuable function to an even greater extent in the future.
