CANCER CHARITIES
That this House recognises that cancer is a major killer disease in the United Kingdom; pays tribute to all the charities involved in conducting research into treatment for cancer and to those charities which provide support and care for people suffering from cancer; expresses its support and appreciation for the excellent work conducted by thousands of volunteers in raising money and supporting cancer charities; and calls on the Government to continue working closely with all cancer charities providing adequate funds for research into cures and care for those suffering from cancer.
