Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bob Russell (Liberal Democrat), on Monday, 15 March 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 113 members in total.

25TH ANNIVERSARY OF HEADWAY

That this House supports Brain Injury Awareness Week, from 15th to 21st March; congratulates Headway, the brain injury association, on its 25th Anniversary; notes that in a recent survey of more than 300 Headway members the main concerns raised were poor quality of life, lack of respite for carers, lack of understanding of the complex effects of brain injury, and lack of brain injury services, particularly in the community; and calls on the Government to ensure that the condition receives due attention in the forthcoming National Service Framework for long-term medical conditions.
