Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Mark Lazarowicz (Labour and Co-operative Party), on Monday, 22 March 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 145 members in total.
ACCESS TO TRAINS
That this House commends the disability charity, Leonard Cheshire, for the success of its All Aboard campaign; notes the strength of feelings amongst the disability movement in support of an early end date for inaccessible trains and widespread opposition to an end date of 2035; and therefore urges the Government to bring forward an early end date ensuring fair and equal access to the railways network for all.
