Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor John Grogan (Labour), on Wednesday, 14 January 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 53 members in total.
BRITISH BEER
That this House calls on all Government departments to offer British beer alongside wine at official receptions; notes with dismay that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office do not offer British beer to guests at official functions other than on request, thus missing out on a golden opportunity to showcase the world-renowned ales and lagers produced by the nation's brewing industry.
