TRAINING ALLOWANCE FOR SIXTEEN YEAR OLDS
That this House, mindful of the commitment of Her Majesty's Government to the provision of an appropriately qualified workforce through training and to the well being of the young people of this country, deplores the failure of the Training Allowance of 16 year olds to keep pace with inflation and mindful of the said commitments, resolves therefore to increase the Allowance from ??29.50 to ??68.60.
